LISTENING CLASS 3

Topic: Habits

Teacher Dania  began the class by presenting the teachers and after that she did a fun activity to break the ice. First of all she played some music, then students made two groups, after that they  threw a ball into a basket, when the ball got inside the basket they had to pick a paper in the floor that had a habit written on it, after that they had to paste it next to its correspondent image in the whiteboard.

Later, teacher Ligia reviewed the new vocabulary in the dialogues . Then she handed students images and she read a little description, as she read, students had to identify which image matched with the description  and passing to the front to paste the image in the board. 

Moreover, teachers Sara and Karen divided the class in two, first students listened a text that the teacher read so they could answer some questions before. The other part consisted on teacher playing an audio with a conversation that students, organized in two groups, listened to. On the floor there were some papers with the dialogues of the conversation that each group had to form, after listening the audio.

Then, teacher José played an audio with habits information and students chose the correct picture that corresponded to the audio.

The teacher Dania finished the class by asking students to stand up and passing a series of balloons, while playing some music, when the music stopped students answered the questions inside the balloons. those questions were: what did you learn today? What habit you learnt today? What habit you didn’t know? After that teacher dismissed the class.
